Scope and content:

The scrapbook includes letters, notices of two extraordinary general meetings held in July and lists of members present at these meetings, and presscuttings from the Financial Times and London Gazette. The scrapbook is only half filled.

There are also two loose sheets which have been slotted into the scrapbook. One is titled Points to be noted in voluntary liquidition and consists of a draft list of the processes and tasks to be completed in winding up the company . The other is a draft of a declaration written by John Walter Jupe, the secretary of D H Evans & Co Ltd, concerning the winding up of D H Evans & Co Founders' Shares Co Ltd and explaining that the appropriate paperwork has been filed with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies.

This scrapbook is in poor condition caused by water damage. Production of this item is only with the permission of the Duty Archivist and Preservation Manager.
